Meet Becky: The Photographer
You don't take a photograph, you make it. – Ansel Adams

I wear a big smile on my face as I walk through my home.To me, it is an art gallery. It is filled with so many beautiful photographs of my favorite people and the special memories we have shared. I am so blessed to be able to share my passion with you. Enjoy my blogsite and treasure your photographs.

A little hiatus…

I know!  I know!  I am a little sad writing this!

I have been so incredibly blessed by your support and love over the last 3 1/2 years of taking pictures for your beautiful families.

I am excited to announce the upcoming arrival of baby #3 in September!  With preparing for the new baby and wanting to spend some special time this summer with these two loves of my life (and my sweet, gorgeous hubby!)…

I have decided to take some time off from my photography business to be with my family.  I hope you remember me in 2013 as my passion for photography is still strong and I plan on returning after the holiday season.

I plan on honoring the sessions I currently have on my calendar so do not worry!  Thank you for your understanding and keep smiling!

Much love, Becky

My sweet nephew!

Back in November, my brother in law and sister in law had probably one of the cutest baby boys I have ever seen (I know I sound like a biased aunt, but he is pretty darn cute).  He just turned 3 months but I have not had a chance to share his cute newborn photos!

Cousins!

Baby Issac

My sister in law’s BFF asked me to come take some newborn pictures of her new baby boy.  It was fun to have my SIL as my assistant as we took photos of these two cuties.  I am in awe of Mama as she delivered this 10 lbs. 8 oz. bundle of joy!

Meet Baby Drake

I had the pleasure of meeting this beautiful Mama and her sweet hubby back in December.  I knew this beautiful couple would make a beautiful baby.  I was right!  I got to meet baby Drake last month and he was so adorable.  Check out their maternity and newborn highlights.

“We sing for joy at the works of your hands.”

Psalm 92:4

If anyone should have hearts full of joy, it should be my two dear friends.  We have been friends for over 10 years.  They just had two of the most handsome boys.  I was blessed to be one of the first out of the family to meet these two sweet boys.  It was an honor to capture their cuteness.  I could not be happier of this family and I can already tell that these two have the best parents around.

Merry Christmas

Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year!  I have many more sessions to blog from the fall, but it will have to wait until after the holidays!  I am off to beautiful Colorado to enjoy a white Christmas with my family.  I am forever grateful for the love, support and encouragement I continue to receive from friends, family and clients.  I hope you all treasure your photos for years to come.  Here are a few pictures of my family.  Thanks to my friend, Amber, for this adorable family picture!  See you in 2012!

Sleeping Beauty

I love newborn sessions.  It is such an exciting time for the family and you really get to know them as I typically spend close to 2 hours photographing newborns.  This beauty was a perfect model and her big sister could not have been any more adorable.  I had so many favorites from this session, but here are a few.

A session in jammies!

This family is so fun!  When mom called me to book her holiday mini session, she said she wanted to do something different.  A session in their Christmas jammies at their home!  We had a great time and I loved trying something new.
